The Austin Lighthouse now offers Certification Testing in collaboration with Microsoft and Pearson VUE. This Testing Center, located in the Lighthouse foyer, is the only one in Texas with JAWS and ZoomText loaded on the computers for use by blind Texans taking certification tests. You can continue to grow your skills, knowledge, and proficiency through self-study, attending courses, and sitting for these Certification exams.
Achieving an industry-recognized certification is valuable in every profession. A certification (a piece of paper) can be your ticket to a dream job. It is usually a minimum requirement for a career in IT, HR, Finance, Safety, and virtually all medical jobs. It leads you down a life-long path of learning.
