Warehousing and Distribution

The Austin Lighthouse Warehousing and Distribution Center provides integrated logistics solutions primarily for the Department of Defense. Our warehousing facilities proudly provide the opportunity of employment for more than 100 visually-impaired and blind Texans. We process thousands of orders daily, receive an average of ten truckloads of new merchandise each day, ship out 5,000-6,000 packages daily, operate forklifts and turret trucks. The complexity of our processes requires a robust months-long training program, use of new technologies, automation and adaptive equipment.

U.S. Military Warehousing

The Austin Lighthouse Warehousing and Distribution Center provides integrated logistics solutions primarily for the U.S. military. Our warehousing facilities proudly provide the opportunity of employment for more than 100 visually-impaired and blind Texans. We receive U.S. Army uniforms from bases across the country for intake and launder and repair uniforms so that they can be reissued to soldiers around the U.S.

Commercial Warehousing

With a current maximum capacity of 900,000 square feet of warehousing space, we offer commercial warehousing opportunities for private and public entities. We focus primarily on palletized unit loads of retail merchandising and dry storage products that do not have strict temperature requirements.
