Meg Morreale Named Chief Financial Officer of the Austin Lighthouse for the Blind

Austin, TX – Travis Association for the Blind, is pleased to announce Meg Morreale, CPA, MBA has joined the executive team of the Austin Lighthouse as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

Morreale was most recently at Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple where she served as Vice President of Finance & Accounting and earlier as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.

Prior to those positions, Morreale was Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at FirstCare Health Plans in Austin.

“The Austin Lighthouse is incredibly fortunate to have someone of Meg’s caliber join the team, said Jim Meehan, President/CEO of Travis Association for the Blind. “Her experiences in manufacturing, services, non-profits, and large multinational corporations are just what is needed in today’s ever-changing environment. She will be a key contributor in helping steer the agency to continued success.

Morreale received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
