AUSTIN, Texas – February 23, 2024 – Travis Association for the Blind, commonly referred to as the Austin Lighthouse, today announced Chase Rupe has been elected to serve as a member of its Board of Directors.
Rupe is the Chief Executive Officer of Lencore Acoustics LLC, headquartered in Huntington, New York, and is known as a strategic and impactful senior operations executive with a proven track record of turning vision into executable strategy. Prior to his role with Lencore, Rupe served as the Senior Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development of Emmis Corporation, where he oversaw a public and venture-backed portfolio of companies as a key operating partner and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) leader working closely with the Emmis executive team, board of directors, management teams, investment banks, and target company leadership. Previously, he spent two decades in broadcast media leadership roles for Emmis Communications, iHeartMedia, and Cumulus Media.

Rupe is a graduate of California Coast University; Santa Ana, CA where he received his Bachelor of Science, Management and Concordia University Texas; Austin, TX where he received his Master of Business Administration. He lives in Austin with his wife, Jordyn, and daughter, Alex. They enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends, family, and their two dogs.
