The AbilityOne Program
AbilityOne is the largest source of employment for people who are blind or have significant disabilities in the U.S. The Austin Lighthouse for the Blind is one of more than 550 nonprofit organizations that employ these individuals and provide quality products and services to the Federal Government at a fair market price.
Through the AbilityOne Program, people who are blind or have significant disabilities enjoy full participation in their community and can market their AbilityOne-learned skills into other public and private sector jobs.
